World Polio Day is nearly here
On 24 October, World Polio Day, we will join our partners to remind the world that together, we end polio.
Rotary members are planning thousands of actions worldwide to raise awareness and funds for the fight against polio.
What started as a vaccination campaign for children in 1979 in the Philippines has become a global movement through the support of our members and partners. Those children vaccinated back in 1979? They've grown up - and are sharing their stories from that historic time. Keep an eye on Rotary social channels on 24 October for a firsthand account from one of the first children vaccinated in that campaign.
