FIRESIDE CHAT - Monday 6 July 2026

Winter is here and it is time for our Annual Fireside Chat event - to be held on Monday 6 July 2026.

For new members, this ‘dinner’ event is spent in small groups, hosted at a member’s home instead of our full group at Lakehouse Kithbrooke. Partners are very welcome to attend with you.

Firstly - we need 3 more members to open their homes to a small group of Rotarians and partners. Greg and I will be more than happy to host. Please email or phone me if you would also like be a host.

Dinner can be whatever you and/or your group can manage. It can be a modest meal provided by the host with guests paying (as we do at Lakehouse). It can be a take out meal eg. pizza, Asian food, with members sharing the cost. Or perhaps every guest can bring some food to share with their friends. My mantra is always KISS - it’s about the fellowship more than the food.

These nights can be quite memorable as it is a more relaxed and intimate group and setting - a good recipe for interesting and personal chatter and getting to know more about each other.
