As Rotary Foundation Month 2023 draws to a close, we're delighted District 9780 Foundation Chair Anthony Ohlson can join us for dinner at Kithbrooke Park (and online) to speak about his role and the Rotary Foundation.
Apart from filling us in on how the Rotary Foundation helps Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill and peace by improving health, providing quality education, improving the environment and alleviating poverty, Anthony has promised to spill the beans on the District Grants Program.
This includes explaining how the the District Grants Program supports clubs across our district and providing examples of projects it has supported in the past - along with tips about what the committee is looking for when a club like ours applies for a District Grant.
If you are attending in person, please register yourself (and any guests including partners) before 1pm this Friday 24 November 2023 to ensure our caterer has sufficient notice to adequately cater for everyone and accommodate any special dietary requirements. Make sure you include these in the comments field at time of registration.
Dinner cost is $30 per person with drinks at the usual Kithbrooke Park bar prices.
