Science and Engineering Challenge
The Science and Engineering Challenge is a nationwide STEM program founded by The University of Newcastle and delivered in partnership with Rotary Clubs and Deakin University. The program brings together teams of Year 9 and 10 students for an exciting day of hands-on challenges, friendly competition, and creative problem-solving across science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
From building bridges to robotic hands, students work together to test their skills, think outside the box, and have fun competing against other schools.
Get ready to inspire the next generation of engineers, scientists, and innovators! We’re now calling for enthusiastic volunteers to help make the 2026 Challenge a success.
Volunteer support is vital to creating an engaging and rewarding experience for students, and we would love to have you involved!
