Host: Rotary Club of Nibe, Denmark

It seems like such a long time ago that we farewelled Nash from Melbourne Airport to commence his year on exchange.
He has been a very busy young man but he has provided us with an update and photos of what he has been up to.
Nash has settled in well to his exchange and has enjoyed living with his first host family.
They have travelled to Copenhagen where Nash took in a lot of the arts and culture of the capital city.
He is really enjoying his school and has made lots of new friendships.
There has been a Youth Exchange meet up so Nash has been able to catch up with his fellow D9780 outbound - Hugo plus all the other RYE in Denmark.
A very special occasion was celebrated recently with Nash turning 17 - "Happy Birthday ðŸ¥³ Nash". You can see from the photos that it was celebrated in style.

The most exciting thing for Nash was this report that came through:
Recently from May 1st - 3rd I went on a sailing trip. We sailed up the north west of Denmark through the Fyord that separates the main island of Denmark with the northern part.  The ship was called Loa. If you Google Loa Aalborg you will probably find out more info than I could share. It was very interesting to sleep on a ship with all the bunks and stuff. Both nights we slept at a harbour so I didn't have to wake up at four am to help sail, thank god! We all had four hour shifts of helping with food and cleaning then sailing then free time and spare help. I enjoyed the free time the most! - Nash
