As we approach the busiest fundraising period in the Torquay Rotary calendar, its worth reflecting on what we have achieved to date

A surprise Xmas gift was $3000 organised by Rotarian John Oswald for the Proposed Project in Fiji
There are three Major Fundraising activities in the first two months of 2019
- Car parking for the Night Jar Market - Coordinator Brian Mynott
Thursday January 3rd January & every Thursday in January –
There is a slight change in starting times as we have been asked to assist with parking for stall holders. President Trevor is organising the (early) shifts
- Torquay Rotary Club Book Fair – Coordinator Rhonda Anchen & Committee
The Book Fair will run from Thursday 24 – 27 January however Rotarians will be required from Sunday 20th January & especially for the clean up on Sunday 27th
Our normal Club Dinner Meeting will be held at the Scout Hall on Monday 21st January

- Motor Show Sunday 10th February - Coordinators Greg Plumridge & Amanda Hough
Activities on the day will be as previous years, with one major exception – on Saturday night 9th February, we will be erecting Gate entrances & fencing.
Details & duties will be announced at the Motor Show Planning Meeting on Feb 4 2019
