Back in February .....doesn't that seem such a long time ago..........on the weekend of our Motor Show Surf Coast Corvettes held a function with members of fellow Corvette Clubs from around Victoria. Very generously Surf Coast Corvettes committed to donate the proceeds from that weekend to our Club through their support of both our "Cruise" and Motor Show.
Due to COVID-19, their club, like ours has been unable to meet face to face so the logistics of getting their office bearers together has meant that there has been quite a delay in them being able to produce the cheque to present to us. Finally this week Mark Andre called to say that he finally had the cheque available to present to us. So on Tuesday I had the pleasure of dropping in on Mark and Betty Andre and was presented with a cheque for $2,000 to put to our Motor Show fundraising.
Of course as you can see we ensured we strictly complied with Social Distancing requirements as the cheque was exchanged.
We thank Surf Coast Corvettes not only for their generous donation, but also for their support of our Motor Show and their assistance with our inaugural Cruise.
