Early last Tuesday morning, I presented on Organ Donor Awareness at Geelong Central Rotary Club breakfast meeting speaking to about 15 members about the Mary Elliott Legacy.
Stressing the need to encourage family members to register & have the discussion about Organ Donation
A young 23 year old man called Isaiah attended as visitor to the Club that morning .
He lives in Portarlington & is undertaking Community Development at the Gordon & just thought he would come along to hear about Rotary !!
After I had demonstrated to Club members, how simple it was to register by logging onto www.donatelife.vic.gov.au with just your Medicare number & date of birth - Isaiah announced that he had registered already
Made me think about the way young people communicate with instant use of technology !
