Push-up Challenge email

Hi There,

Are you ready to push yourself and make a positive impact on mental health? The Push-Up Challenge is back in 2023 and ready for you to join in!

This challenge is not just about getting fit, having fun and team building but also about supporting and raising awareness for mental health. By participating in the Push-Up Challenge, you can make a difference and help raise funds for mental health initiatives.

Can't do a push-up?
No worries. You can also complete your target goal with squats, burpees, sit-ups etc. Again, it is about getting involved in the conversation and being part of something fun.

So, what are you waiting for?

How it works.

Go solo or grab some mates and challenge yourself to 3,144 push-ups from 1 to 23 June. Aim for half or the full push-up target. You can spread them out across the day.

The Push-Up Challenge is a unique way to engage people in mental health.

  • Runs from 1 to 23 June 2023
  • 3,144 push-ups in total, representing the number of people who died by suicide in Australia in 2021
  • You can track your own and your team's progress online.
  • Get fit
  • You can learn about mental health.
  • Fundraise for mental health (optional, but a great chance to support critical mental health services across Australia)

Getting involved is simple!

  • It's free and easy to get involved; register your interest, and we'll sign you up!
  • It fosters a positive community environment where people encourage each other.
  • It gives your friends, family or workmates something new to be a part of
