Did you know the Geelong Community Foundation contributed $1.41million to the Geelong and surrounding community in 2024-2025 including the Surf Coast?

 

Geelong Community Foundation seeks to be recognised as the most influential leader in philanthropy in the Geelong region.

 

Community Service Director Garth Symington and DG Lesley Shedden attended the Surf coast briefing by this local Foundation this week, to learn more about who they are, what they do, how they operate and who they support.

 

We enjoyed hearing from two recipients of grants this year – Ocean Minds (providing therapeutic surg programs for young people) and Feed Me Bellarine, Geelong Surf Coast (repurposing wasted food to provide meals and produce for those in need). Torquay Rotary has previously supported both these organisations.
