Spring Cleaning and Decluttering Exercise – a Community Service and Environment Project

Are you considering decluttering your homes, when you are doing your spring cleaning?

We would like to commence a small project to help this happen. We will keep a record of how much we keep out of landfill and we repurpose to great causes, or to recycle.

During November we will collect any old eye glasses you have and we will take them to a collection centre. Open those drawers that have long been somewhere you put things no longer in use, and see if there are pairs of Eye Glasses in there

During December our focus will be on eWaste. Most of us have old cords, phones, laptops etc. put away because - what will we do with them? We will take them to an eWaste collection point

January – well let’s see if we can help you clean out those book shelves. Please take the books to our Book Fair and we will raise valuable funds for our club’s fund-raising projects. If you are unable to take them to the book fair, please let me know.
