Last Saturday saw perfect weather for the women's stage of the Cadel Evans weekend of cycling.

Saturday was a perfect day, with the women's road race results being:
Winner - Loes Adegeest (FDJ-SUEZ)
Second - Amanda Spratt (Trek-Segafredo)
Third - Nina Buijsman (Human Powered Health)
Sunday, while still warm was a little drizzly, with the men's road race results being:
Winner - Marius Mayrhofer (DSM)
Second - Hugo Page (Intermarche-Circus-Wanty)
Third - Simon Clarke (Israel-Premier Tech)
The racing was gripping to the end, but the thrill of seeing the peloton whiz by in 10 seconds
was surpassed by the thought that our volunteers efforts raised $1,560 for the club coffers.

Delivered an amazing event, showcasing Geelong and the Surf Coast – you (or your loved ones) may have even seen you on the big screens, like the stars that you are!
