On Sunday 27th of Feb I represented our club the opening of the Anglesea & District War Memorial. This is a project that we had originally donated to when it was first proposed some years ago. It is a fitting Memorial to the many men and women from this region who gave their lives defending our country, and it's allies, during past conflicts.
Full credit to the RSL Anglesea Sub Branch for the speed in which they were able to raise the funding and construct this Memorial, especially given the it all occurred during the COVID pandemic.
