Fund raising efforts this year included a Calcutta Night on Cup eve, the annual Dinner Auction, and our inaugural Art/Craft Expo that was held in January at the TorquayPrimary School. All were very successful events. Our Club hosted the final briefing weekend for District Exchange students in October. Maree Smith from Jan Juc was selected as a member of the Group Study Exchange team to visit Canada in September of next year. Our first Wine Appreciation Night was held this year. Our major projects included the Rotunda & BBQ facility in Taylor Park, the bridge across Spring Creek and the laying of a cricket pitch and reseeding the oval at BellbraePrimary School. Our outward exchange student, Brooke Scanlon departed for Thailand and our inward exchange student, Hanaka Keino, from Japan arrived. Sadly, Charter Member, Alan Howard was tragically killed in a road accident on 6th May 1992.
