President’s Message 

Hello, 

Back to normal this week with the Bulletin and another call out for any members that would be able to assist with putting the Bulletin together – training provided.   

A group of 14 members and partners met at The Sands on Monday night to enjoy a meal and catch up.  It was a relaxed night and good to see some members who have recently returned from their travels. 

Last Saturday I attended the Barwon Region Group meeting with the Presidents of all the Clubs in our area.  It was very informative and a great way to make connections to other Clubs and gain insight into their projects and challenges. 

We held a successful Board meeting yesterday and Directors will be reaching out to members regarding specific requests in the coming weeks.  Planning is underway for our major fundraising events: Book Fair and Motor Show; the Lese Olai PNG Project is progressing well plus we dealt with administrative items. A verbal report will be given at Monday night's meeting. 

Speaking of Monday night  - we have one of our newest members, JJ Walia, presenting “Rotarian Behind the Badge”.  I personally am looking forward to learning more about JJ and encourage members to register and if you’ve missed the cut off please contact me direct on 0418 182 883 and I’ll book you in.
