Hello,

I hope everyone has had an opportunity to recharge the batteries over the long weekend and I am looking forward to Monday night and our guest speaker Steve Richards from Barwon Community Refugee Integration & Settlement Program. If you haven’t done so already please contact Neil Henderson direct to register.

I would also like to extend to members of our Rotary family love and best wishes to those who have been unwell or are caring for a loved one who is suffering. One thing I have learnt from being in Rotary is that it is the most caring and supportive environment and we are all here for one another when tough times arrive. My door is always open and the kettle on for anyone that needs a listening ear.

Our friends at Kieser Torquay are running their Open Day tomorrow (Saturday 14 March) and we have a team on the BBQ in the car park from 10am – 2pm. Please encourage any family or friends to come down for a tour and a bite to eat. Mike Reed sent out an email with details of a discount for Rotarians if they join.

Sunday sees us down at the Cowrie Market which is shaping up to be a pleasant day. Please check the BBQ rosters and turn up for your allocated shift. If you have any issues on the day, please contact one of the other members on shift so we know. Shout out to Treasurer Gerard....please charge the eftpos machine 😊
