PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

Greetings and welcome. Thank you for joining our online news and updates.
This week’s meeting was notable for its very positive atmosphere; celebrating growth as a club and some of the great work being undertaken in our community. Members gathered for a special occasion that saw the induction of new Rotarians, an address focused on community support and inclusion as well as a small celebration for Chrissy’s birthday.
We were thrilled to induct two new members, each bringing unique experiences and enthusiasm that will strengthen our club. Welcome to Leah and Ray, and although you have both attended a number of meeting already we look forward to getting to know you both better as you become more involved in our activities.

Following the inductions, we welcomed and introduced guest speaker Kate Marshall. Kate, CO-CEO and founder of All Aboard Disability Support Services, shared her insights and passion for supporting people with disabilities. We were also provided with an insight into their plans for The Junction Project. The Junction is a tailored space incorporating community services and spaces for people with disability and their support network. Kate’s message drew many parallels with our goals; highlighting the importance of inclusion, empathy, and the real difference community organisations can make.
Thank you to everyone who attended to welcome our new members and guest speaker.

Support Drought-Affected Western Victoria

Support Drought-Affected Communities in Western Victoria 🌾

Rotary Australia World Community Service (RAWCS) is stepping up to support communities in Western Victoria devastated by severe drought. Through our network of local Rotary Clubs and in partnership with local support agencies, we’re providing vital assistance where it’s needed most.
Farming families are facing unimaginable hardships—parched land, dwindling water supplies, and a desperate shortage of livestock feed. Many are sacrificing their own wellbeing just to keep their animals alive. The emotional and mental toll is profound.
This RAWCS project is raising funds to deliver humanitarian relief to those doing it toughest in the drought-stricken regions of Western Victoria.
💛 Every donation helps bring hope and support.
