Thank you for joining us again and catching up on the latest news.

Monday night saw a reduced number of Rotarians attend our meeting. Sadly, we do have some Rotarians feeling under the weather and could not attend. those who attended asnd had dinner enjoyed pizzas. there were brief reports from the Directors who were present. Then we heard about the End Polio Program. John Oswald and his son Ivan, attended and John gave us a brief outline of Val's life.

Val Oswald

Val's Celebration of Life was held at the Torquay Bowls Club on Friday afternoon and was well attended by members and Friends of Rotary. Maggie Isom (Honorary Member) conducted a beautiful service which reflected Val's love of family, friends, sports and the outdoors. A wonderful tribute to an amazing lady.

Bunnings BBQ

Thursday Night saw us celebrate Halloween at Bunnings in one of their special events. Our fantastic cooks could hardly keep up with the hungry hoards. For 90 minutes we worked flat out. Successful and fun night for the Halloween Celebrators. Well done to the great team we had - Gail B, Greg B, Kelly B and Daryl L. (pics in Rosters)

Rosters

Please could Rotarians have a good look at the rosters and please make themselves available to fill some of the gaps. Our busy time is upon us. Some are Community events; others are for fund raising. We do need both.

Have a great week and stay safe. Linda
